But most of the people saying that this is hardware issue....thats why im confuse....hopefully can get a 1 to 1 exchange since im still within the 14 days of purchase  sad.gif
*
since it's just within 14 days then just go for it. nod.gif i'm lazy to go for a change considering how sucky HTC after sales is. laugh.gif Maybe I'll just custom ROM n see if the problem persists. but currently I'm very satisfied with stock original ROM tongue.gif

If u put it in ISO 100 and fully cover the lens it doesnt show purple. Its more likely aggressive image processing than actual hardware problem.
*
conclusion, too much exaggeration is done in enhancing low light performance from the coding. laugh.gif

Got over 230 owners here. Less than 10 complain. How is  that many?  rclxub.gif

Regarding your question about buying with contract, you still have to pay the device fee upfront. Just that they will rebate back certain amount for buying with contract.
*
well i do have this issue, but it doesn't annoy me though. laugh.gif It's not like every photo you take will end up having this issue. Only those with very low light conditions...

i support sending it..u spend a so much money on it and u deserve to get the best out of it..
though it might cost sometime, but i think its better than living with purple tint forever..

hmm.gif but i m studying, i don't have a very lengthy trimester breaks. only around 2 weeks... When i am back in my hometown then I might go to SIS office in Penang to ask about it. This is why I am reluctant to send my unit in for checking. HTC after sales service... doh.gif sweat.gif

P.S my phone is now unlocked and S-OFF. if i leave it just like that i wonder if it is alright. since its running stock ROM n kernel.

1 mm is very small. Can considered noticeable?  shocking.gif

1mm is equivalent to the thickness 5-7 pcs of paper or the thickness of your fingernail?. laugh.gif

One of my friend also trade in LYN, say he sell his HTC One to a guy and the guy already change twice because of overheat problem  shakehead.gif
*
i think he feels it is overheating due to the fact that HO is ONE big heatsink. well heatsink is always hot when ur processor is running intensive tasks XD laugh.gif

*
err abit of lag happens when the game has alot of things to "process" when a few cars crashes, etc. alot of graphcal power is needed to run 1080p display u know tongue.gif unless this is Tegra 4 or snapdragon 800 processor then its a diff story wink.gif

ya under normal light it's fine..the problem only exists when it's under fluorescent light..but i tried my friend's S3 and Huawei phone and both are fine, don't have any wavy lines..when i tried another friend's I5, sometimes the lines are there but sometimes it's not..so i still don't think this is normal, since previous users says that they doesn't encounter this problem with their HO even under fluorescent light...
*
well, HTC's camera software processing sweat.gif

Was about to get this phone an hour ago.
But mobile salesperson said it is laggy and has many problems.
And I am still in consideration to get this phone or other brands.
I like HO for its build quality,Zoe,Sense 5 and BoomSound.
Are there any more cons except from camera purple tint or gap issues that will stop me from buying it?
BTW, what are the things to check when buying this phone ya?
*
laggy? the salesperson must be trolling, there are only 2 notable issues with this phone, purple camera tint issue, and the "micro" gap for the phone's chasis. thats all that i know, the rest is drool.gif drool.gif drool.gif

The salesperson keep questioning like
"Why would you choose HTC One" like no one wants it LOOOOOOL
And he introduced me S4 Active
Plastic  doh.gif
If it does not lag as you said, hopefully it will be mine tomoro  rclxm9.gif
*
well i dunno with majority of people, but i just love the PREMIUM quality construction and details on the HTC rather than samsung. Not to say i hate plastic cuz i personally LOVE the feel of Nokia's PLASTIC 920 feel and blackberry's PLASTIC construction as well. I dont see any problem about plastic, just the way it is manufactured. smile.gif PLUS all the bloatwares that Sammy introduces that will impressed so many ppl but very few will use in real life doh.gif sweat.gif

if you manage your battery well, should last you a day for an average user. for heavy users though, maybe half a day or more. wink.gif definitely way better than HOX
