QUOTE(kingsora @ Jul 23 2013, 02:17 PM) Surely If that's the case you cannot get the full capacity right? I think probably if you charge from zero could only reach 50% to 60% Yah my powerbank can only gimme 50-60% charge. Sigh Why like that lah

QUOTE(emiwy @ Jul 23 2013, 03:46 PM) Yah my powerbank can only gimme 50-60% charge. Sigh Why like that lah Cannot direct conversion from powerbank -> phone, you need to consider that your phone is on, it will still consume battery, and HTC One is using 2300 Mah battery, and your powerbank is only 2600 MAH, well actual capacity might be around 2300~2400, we never know. So, 50~60% is quite common. If you really want to test, drain your phone battery to 0% and charge it using powerbank with the phone switch off.

You can expect a maximum of 80% of rated capacity from battery packs. That's my rule of thumb when buying battery packs.

QUOTE(MikeX @ Jul 23 2013, 08:27 AM) Hi all. Have anyone use a power bank to your HTC One? That day i was using the Valore 2800Mah power bank to charge my HTC and one error message popped up on screen and said the USB power charging is not suitable for the phone and may cause damaged. I checked the power bank, the output is 5V-1A. I think should be the same power for charging the HTC One. Will there be any danger in continue using the power bank to recharge the HTC One? Thanks QUOTE(nuttyking91 @ Jul 23 2013, 04:03 PM) If it is cheaper than the usd 25 charged by Limeade for international shipping most likely cheaper if in bulk, like the poetic case

QUOTE(emiwy @ Jul 23 2013, 03:46 PM) Yah my powerbank can only gimme 50-60% charge. Sigh Why like that lah I once read that powerbank will charge the phone until both powerbank & phone battery capacity is equal and it'll stop charging the phone. Don't know whether it's true or not. For example: Powerbank capacity = 2600/2600 mAh Phone battery capacity = 0/2300 mAh so the powerbank will charge the phone battery until both reach 1300 mAh then it will stop. Hence, 1300/2300 x 100% = 56.5% Nothing to support my theory though... This post has been edited by ss1st: Jul 23 2013, 04:13 PM

QUOTE(kingsora @ Jul 23 2013, 04:08 PM) Got at pasar Malam? egay..oops..i mean ebay.. china mari. the power button is recessed. with the case, very hard to press. since it is frosted, it looks good on my silver HTC. still looks like bare alu, and its a matte feel so makes the phone easier to grip. i think i can live with it.. i wouldn't want to hide our sexy back. and the pimping beatsaudio logo.

Smaller as well. Suits your needs I guess. If myself, now powerbank replaced the charger already
