As far as I know, there are 2 different types of flex pipes and you only tell by looking at the inner pipe.  One with "woven" type interior, another one with "ring" type interior.
The "woven" type interior will expand when heated up by exhaust gas, making the exhaust diameter shrink a little and will break down (bocor) faster.  The "ring" type interior will have much higher resistance to expand when heated up and will last much longer.

not really la..as long maintain service change oil accordingly it is ok already. the parts need to change only tensioner but this can last till 150,000km.
