the meter should display "Close Hood"

ask u short the wire means tipu the car the hood open lorrrr ..
if this works means can wire it back lor...
of coz u need the DIY switch or buy an ori switch lo

if u drive without the hood closing properly it will show on the meter as well

will trigger la..
u need to wait 30 sec only the alarm arm geh

immobilizer only use to prevent engine start.. nothing to do with open door
