COnfirm mytown is SUPER successful.. like u said gd move to launch after ppl see all d retails in mytown n how mytown wil be the MOST successful new mall of 2015 n 2016   

Mine is just scenario assessment on what they will do by leveraging Mytown as best advantage.

Velo, launched their highrise first, "selling" an impression that Velomall (under Sunwai management), will succeed like Pyramid. So they may underestimate Boustead.

Boustead in contrast, "launched" Mytown first and use Mytown to attract buyers on their highrise.

Mytown is still in leading so far. Velo a bit quiet on their action. I avoid putting my verdict despite my preference on Mytown. Also, cannot underestimate Sunwai on their strike back.

Once Mytown and Velo officially open business to battle, the result will be known. Cheras people win by having multiple choices of malls to visit.

Haha both aso maybe workmanship no good for this malls. Even those velo condo finishing design n all is lower end compared to ssq condos. Feel mytowns fnb tenants dont suit cheras market while velocity does.

going out parking took a long time, apparently the road after the exit was ponding and uneven, looks like not fully ready but want to open already, and just like SV, phone no coverage in many areas in the mall, cinema not open yet, parking have to circle many floors up, f&b has a mixture of ordinary and new brands

got to agree with that, the traffic is dam terrible at this area now with this 2 big malls, can't imagine 2 - 3 years down the road with more condos completed and all the sunway projects down, how the traffic is going to be like.

as of today; sales are pretty bad and strangely they dont really care. waiting for recovery?

Only way is to walk to the cochrane MRT station and use the underground walk way into Mytown. Not sure if that is considered “integrated”
