QUOTE(funfunfun @ Oct 9 2020, 05:31 PM) It’s cumulative effect of many temporary guests over time. Typically when there a lot of airbnb guests, facilities worn out a lot faster as they tend to use facilities to maximise and they are not so gentle on facilities usage as they are not paying maintenance fees. Heard at one time a lot of facilities at setia sky residence are broken. The lawsuit is to scare off other operators. They are not the only one operating airbnb TFW when you see Airbnb or short term rental guests go into lifts soaking wet from pool, jump into pool with regular clothes on (not swimming clothing), pluck flowers, set off fireworks in common areas, break bbq tables... (grew up in a high end condo that's in a popular tourist hotspot, so I saw these first hand before management banned Airbnb)

QUOTE(Babizz @ Oct 11 2020, 11:41 AM) All those project target Airbnb or coliving etc is not too good in the long-run for ownstay or even normal rental. I know residents who bought for ownstay in a few Airbnb spots in KL n now they struggle due to the facilities being overused, lifts being full etc. Security concerns also especially when it's one of those "hands off" Airbnb hosts where they put keys in mailboxes for guests to pick up. Once caught one stranger who went around sneakily trying to lift locked mailboxes to see if any guests dropped keys in without reset locks.

Quite normal la investors trying to get passive income from rentals (long n short term), you can see how popular property guru talks in Malaysia used go be but investors after a while will eventually sell once property lose value or can no longer maintain costs especially newbies who think in sens more than sense.

Sunway + Binastra + UDA competing should be very interesting in how PSF ranges of projects in this area will turn out these developers got good cashflow so waiting game isn't a problem for them.

QUOTE(coolguy99 @ Sep 6 2023, 07:16 AM) It’s not connected to my town? What a waste. Not directly connected per se, need to walk to Cochrane MRT and take the underground bridge there, or go further down to the cross junction and take zebra crossing On average around 5-8 mins walking

QUOTE(IAmYourFather @ Sep 7 2023, 03:03 AM) Def more than 5 mins. I've tried to walk there, roughly 10 mins of walking. Not properly covered. I've not try the underground connection tho, do you need to pay in order to use the connection? Because my experience with past monorial/lrt bridge need to pay even tho just to cross to the other side I recall no need (path to mytown is outside the station entry because station is deeper underground) But I could be remember wrongly 😅 it's been a few months le since I took the MRT This post has been edited by DragonReine: Sep 7 2023, 08:43 AM

QUOTE(jk.tan128 @ Sep 7 2023, 06:23 PM) The architect will decide where to break the walls, not the admin or management. Outside architect or one that knows the actual building plan, with developer approval? Wouldn't connecting units like these affect Master Fire policy, since doors/openings will affect how fire spreads, as well as structural integrity?
