QUOTE(ben3003 @ Jul 21 2013, 09:58 AM) i tot we got newegg malaysia tat provide the shipping? why we need to ship directly to msia? the shipping charges by newegg my is reasonable. the thing i saw about zotac is tat the temperature is quite high >< if ship from newegg asus gtx770 around 1400 include shipping, unless newegg my got additioinal charges la.. everything is fine IMO, as long as it doesn't hit above 90 lol Tested Zotac 770, max temp i can get for stressing it is 86. EVGA 770 ACX also hit 82 with the same stress test. |

You sticked the surface with the "stripped" material? Looks pretty good. Carbon Fibre Vinyl to be exact Plan to cover the whole shrould at 1st but then i was too lazy to disassemble the whole thing |

QUOTE(Unseen83 @ Nov 16 2013, 07:22 PM) kindly refrain yourself from posting this kind of meaningless comment QUOTE(ReverseDark @ Nov 16 2013, 07:01 PM) maybe 290x will get burnt more quickly than 780ti? saw what galaxy/nvidia had done with the 780ti pcb? They've been using the PCB for 780 instead of 780Ti, that's when things started to get scorching hot. They've already announced the suspension and recall. 290X will be sizzling hot on the reference cooler, but up to date I haven't seen any burnt 290X like what happened to the 780Ti. |

QUOTE(ReverseDark @ Nov 16 2013, 11:21 PM) argee, my guess is what took 290x so long to get custom cooling maybe IMO is the similar issue with the galaxy 780ti, l mean amd card can boil on 95c no problem while 780ti max temp is only 83c can be exploded, Waw well, that won't be much issue for most enthusiasts out there as they will pretty much WC this card. The 780Ti tragedy... really burned the green camp a lot, right after the 320.18 WHQL which killed a lot of cards back then. Nvidia really needs to start doing something different and better, or else... |

QUOTE(JayLeong @ Nov 25 2013, 02:37 AM) Hardly but I did see one in Viewnet around October, not sure if it's still there. But come to think of it, why 550 Ti when there's other newer models which performs better than it now? And do state out your budget so these helpful peoples can recommend you a card that suits your budget & needs. |

It seems that Nvidia's plan just got foiled.
Not a good sign, can't stand losing by price yet still reserving the Maxwell. Wonder how will they get through all of these? |
