Its funny that we dont have (m)any successful dating websites here in Malaysia. Whereas Thailand has a couple very successful ones. I did a bit or searching, and talked with a couple colleagues from Bangkok, and they tell me its a very common & interesting thing, the online dating / matchmaking over there.
A quick (google) survey of our available ones in Malaysia gives sub-standard ones, which only work if u "pay". Resulting is very low usership, and thus sub-quality and functionality.
Have you guys heard of any friends who uses/used online dating websites in Malaysia?
or if you have you're own experiences, please do share.

Dude, Malaysians can use other online dating websites too. I know many asian who are members of online dating thought the website is not from asia.
I have meet them at http://www.yournewpartner.net. See for yourself here that you dont need malaysian online dating website because online dating is for all. No racial differentiaton.
U can follow one forumer here go wechat randomly search and add people then randomly talk to people hope one likes u then after call them lou po or lao Kong and etc then said she the one.
U can also create a new thread In cupid to share your success story then claim its long distance relation ship when you never meet before later plan to marry her then challenge ppl they are wrong because he met a randomly girl in wechat then plan to marry without even meeting her while he is a virgin and 30+

You know why Msia dun have?? We do the traditional way. Doing thru online dating website is too boring.
Social circles only go so far. Friends of friends, friends of colleagues, friends of family. i guess for alot of us, working life also deprives us of lots of opportunities to meet new people.

Online dating isn't successful in m'sia because it is VERY easy for women to get attention from men in this country. Just drop a hint that you're available and swarms of desperate men will come running.
What for need online dating sites?

Wechat and Malaysiancupid are hot these days for online dating in Malaysia. You could also use Tinder. There're many others when you do a search on google for 'dating sites in Malaysia' but you should be mindful which sites to use. This article explains further how to choose the best dating sites https://datepolishsingles.com/links/best-dating-site .
actually met my SO on tinder! we've been tgt for 4 years plus now haha. but i think nowadays tinder not that heng anymore, mostly expats/foreigners using.
I (unker) tried a paid dating site in Malaysia .... got 3 dates. Met 3 aunties. Most adventurous outing was for lunch only. Other 2 had coffee only.
My friend from Bandung just visited me and had a good laugh with my experiences. He has gone back and organizing meetings for me ..... guaranteed less than 35 yo he said. Packing my bag now.
Lunch and coffee dates can be interesting and well, adventurous too I guess depending on what you do All the way to Bandung huh? While you're at it, can you see if anyone is interested to come to KL to work (I need a new maid cause the current one wants to go back!)
