You , see , RISC andd CISC....PowerPC chip uses RISC , which well......most of the application are written for RISC [OSX]...Thus , on the real processor it runs faster. But when you run RISC applications on CISC , it has to emulate , thus slowing down. TIll today , Powerbooks are still strong if you're doing Photoshop. But , you would lose out iSight and all other goodies that MacBook Pro has it. If you ask me , go for MacBook Pro. Why ?.....You would be lucky to enjoy OSX 10.5 , which would able to run windows programs on OSX.....
