Razer has bought THX! Looking forward to more kick ass speakers!

They've not made a single kick-ass speaker/headphone/earbuds, ever.https://medium.com/@thxltd/a-new-beginning-...e4df#.lt4ex3dlg

That is an interesting news.
I have always tried to buy speakers with THX certification. This would mean that Razer will exclusively have THX certified speakers only (similar to its Cherry MX green and orange switches for its mechanical keyboards)

get more money from licensing out.
THX certification is a joke a now a days. It's the same kind of certification SIRIM gives. What do they do? Nothing other than e-peen points.but razer exclusive thx? thats commercial suicide.

What it does mean for Razer though is that it's free passive money as more and more "gaming audio" products gets THX certified (which THX charges A LOT for).
