Guys ! I'm thinking about the Razer Taipan and Razer DA2013, i play mostly of MOBA and FPS ( CS GO and LoL ) long hours.
which will be better? i use more of a grip between claw and palm type.
and what about the Lachesis 5600? still worth to get? if there's stock,

QUOTE(GodJesterZ @ Jul 20 2013, 06:03 AM) Razer DA if you like the shape, if not go for taipan. I'm used to my Lachesis shape, until i switched to the Diablo3 Steelseries mouse(which palm did not rest well on the palm rest area of he mouse ) I have quite a big hand. is the Taipan anywhere close to the Lachesis feel? QUOTE(GodJesterZ @ Jul 20 2013, 06:15 AM) lol. I nvr use lachesis b4 it seems you're used to ambidextrous mouse shape. DA is for right handed ppl. taipan is ambidextrous. I currently owned DA and abyssus, the down side of abyssus is the mouse cord is not braided and slightly small for big hand ppl. haha yea, used to ambidextrous, din use ergos bfore. Do u know anyshop which lets me try? cuz mostly are sealed right? How about their specs? other than the shape, since i need to feel and try it for myself in that aspect.

QUOTE(GodJesterZ @ Jul 20 2013, 06:38 AM) heavyarm ss15 got a lot of test set if you stay at Subang la. SPec doesnt matter unless you're really gonna use high dpi. since you play fps i doubt u will use any setting more than 1000dpi for accuracy. but having a better senser means yr accuracy is much better compare to others mouse sensor. like steelseries the kana the sensor is really screw up at 1600dpi got a lot of jitter. oo okay, dint know they got test unit, wil visit them. erm im more to MOBA for competitive, FPS just chill only. Now i'm using 5k CPI on my D3 SS mouse, i rarely move my hand around, so the wrist is like resting on the mouse pad. alr lazy to move around d xD got used to it. high dpi which is better? and how about the lachesis 5600 ya?

QUOTE(GodJesterZ @ Jul 20 2013, 06:55 AM) razer lachesis I think stop production ady, long time ady, 5k cpi wtf. Im only using 450dpi. even on 1800dpi I feel too fast no control haha. is up to yr preference which mouse you want to get. cant help with yr decision. haha, hand no need to move literally just rotate my wrist only. hmm, not sure any store still got old stock or not for lachesis, but the review for lachesis 5600 isit good? I'm attracted by the multi colour system duno why razer din add in into their new mice models

QUOTE(GodJesterZ @ Jul 20 2013, 07:02 AM) I dont think so. ( I am running a custom built Win 7 Pro 64-bit PC and my Razer Lachesis likes to stop working mid-game. The lights stay on, it just becomes unresponsive. I pause the game, unplug the mouse, and plug it back in, and it works fine again. It can work good for upwards of a few months, or it could work for a couple hours. I have tried all the drivers and software on the Razer site for the Razer Lachesis 5600 I believe, and I don't know what I should do) but a number of review says is a good mouse. Since you're paying for it go do more research as you know i dont owned this mouse so cant give much comment. wah =X okay... hmm so far DA2013 alot positive review.. let me go have a try first.. don think its worth to sacrifice a 2 year better in tech just for a multi coloured LED i suppose =X QUOTE(tennytyy @ Jul 20 2013, 10:54 AM) Im using DA2013 to play LOL. So far very satisfied with the mice performance. ever compared with the taipan? QUOTE Im using DA2013 to play LOL. So far very satisfied with the mice performance. biggrin.gif u claw or palm grip? QUOTE(GodJesterZ @ Jul 21 2013, 10:43 AM) DA can be claw, palm or fingertip also. hmm.. i think i will go try them out, and get the one which i feel which is most comfortable... btw those sensors having z-axis tracking issue, wil it be a problem if i use 5600 DPI and i don even lift my mouse while gming?

QUOTE(tennytyy @ Jul 22 2013, 09:55 AM) Taipan is a little flat and small for my hands. In the other hand, i like DA because of it's ergonomic design and big size, not like Taipan. I'm palm grip user. hmm i think imma try it first before i buy... how about the performance?

QUOTE(areleeza8 @ Aug 29 2013, 12:27 AM) Tournament is tenkeyless. Means don't have number keypad at right-hand side. I don't know lot's about cherry colours. QUOTE(rav3n82 @ May 4 2014, 05:03 PM) I would recommend dropping by any retail shops to have a look at the surface. From the official website, Control is marketed as having a heavily textured weave that creates the right amount of friction, so you get pixel-precise targeting for absolute in-game accuracy, while Speed is marketed as having a slick and seamless surface so that your gaming mouse glides quickly with zero hindrance. For your case, since you have such a high DPI for your mouse, it would be nice to pair with the Control. For me, I personally use Speed and paired with a 2.6k DPI setting, it works just fine for me. So I find it to be a case of adjusting and getting ourselves used to the mousepad. QUOTE(Helldiver @ May 4 2014, 08:20 PM) Speed is like wiping your bontot with silk, sooooooooo smoooooth. Control is opposite, but I feel it's still kinda smooth to me hmm.. im using the old version d goliathus control thou, just not sure should i change to speed... gonna online order, so cant go store and test out T_T
