My hand sore as hell using DA at low sens. Thinking of getting rival..

is there any difference ?
when you play low sensitivity then change to another mouse and play low sensitivity, your hand will still be sore ..
QUOTE(alikato94 @ Feb 23 2014, 01:38 PM)
first i use DA13, but no luck, broken already, scroll whell malfunction, then try to open it to see it, i broke left click haha  doh.gif

using low sensitivity is good, also prevents carpal turnel and make yr hand muscular.

Well that's a first. Never heard of low sensitivity preventing carpal tunneling. But I guess if you play alot of hand/wrist based sports it should be oKay? I play alot of basketball/rugby.

Yeah got worried when you said your hand kept getting weaker by the year. Even if it's not the case, a little extra exercise or sport doesn't hurt. smile.gif

Hahaha bad luck with DA13.
One more question, how about the anti sweat coating on rival surface and the side rubber grip, I guess it's pretty much the same as DA13 right?

If you really hate glossy surface, get this thing called "Plastidip" at ACE hardware. Google/youtube it (they even use this to spray cars)

It gives you a PEEL ABLE rubberized surface.

for rival, if u want to reach that two extra buttons using ur thumbs (i dont know what its name), u can relax your thumb on the rubber grip which is nice to me, then if u wanna use the side button just move your thumbs up, not like DA, your thumb located nearly to the side buttons,

for easy explanation (sorry for my english) the side buttons on Rival located on top side, while DA located in the middle side. thats is what i can say about the rubber grip, which makes Rival feel a bit comfortable for that, oh ya, Rival side rubber grip seems like a rough texture, while DA, smooth.

anti sweat coating on rival is great and im comfortable with that, but still DA wins in term of comfortable due to its shape

yup, the kraken pro leather ear cushions were killing my ears after like 10 minutes of wearing it. ohmy.gif

finally got the cloth replacements from razerzone with the help of my friend, it was about RM66+ with fedex shipping, which was the "normal" option on the site, it just doesn't say its fedex 0_o (still don't understand why maybank's mastercard doesn't work)

anyway, my ears don't feel agitated that much anymore after switching to cloth, but its still darn tight.

I read a couple of cases people put cushioning under the ear cups, 1 dude put in thin foam, the other dude with paper towel LOL.
It works for them, seems that the inside of the ear cup is touching the ears thus the discomfort.. but i didn't feel that way, well its worth a try. I notice this round hollowed rings of foam that came with the cloth replacement cushions, wonder if I should put that in.

tested my friend's kraken forged

definitely not worth the price and a disappointment.

they marketed the headphone to work great on both gaming and music, but this one fails big time on the latter.

it is all marketing gimmick doh.gif

btw I think whoever looking forward to buy the latest mice from Razer, DA 2013. I strongly advise you to spend the money on a better product offered by others. I've just tested friend's DA 2013 and I could say beside 6400 dpi, 4G sensor, they didn't change anything literally. The lift off distance is hard for me because it's heavy like its predecessor, I wonder why DA 2013 still didn't make any improvement on it.doh.gif

for the same price or cheaper, I'd recommend Mionix Naos 7000, Logitech G400

unless they upgrade the switches/clicks for the mouse buttons to a more durable ones, i too do suggest everyone to stay away from razer mice. they have the very infamous double clicking issue that they yet to fix because they use the same inferior click switches.

their products are batch dependent. some of the batches are working okay. but most of the time not.

i did try to spread this so called 'razer awareness' in the previous version of the thread few years back, but if my memory serves me well, a lot of the forumers back then asked me to gtfo because they claimed they have the right to buy anything they want with their moniesss. lol

for now, the less being said about it the better. laugh.gif
