QUOTE(iamkent @ Jul 20 2013, 10:32 AM) I actually got myself to AUS/NZ iTunes version and yes! My iPhone 4 and iPad Mini is installed with the game. I think I haven't finish it until certain extent but the game itself is promising. Concerning the price for better towers or cannons, it can be true or might not be. I will bet that efforts will bring it through. Even PvZ first one, I ranked No.1 in my friend's list surprisingly and I just finished a few mini-games and the rest is either you pay for it or no. Game ON!!! |

QUOTE(iamkent @ Jul 20 2013, 04:12 PM) Well it's FREE of course but some weapons might need real cash to enjoy. You get what I mean? This post has been edited by sniperz: Jul 20 2013, 04:32 PM |

I agree with what they said.
But repeating the quest for me is like a good challenge as it makes you more good at this game. You can't deny that IAP is in for real cash but you can choose not to. @iamkent Personally, I think besides getting lots of feedback... I prefer you to TRY all the games then. It doesn't bites or blow your time anyway. A few minutes to test it's good or bad. For me, I'll stay neutral after I finished Ancient Egypt in a jippy and I know to achieve 20 stars isn't hard at all to unlock the next level. For those who are lazy bummers, indeed you would felt boring playing "repeat" missions but those missions are more to casual , challenge and makes you unlock without wasting real cash. I hope everyone can enjoy the game. I did! And I felt what the other gamers said was not right about the IAP thing, use your EFFORT to make it through. Simple as that, I think it's still ok for a freemium game. Don't hassle and put more hours like you train kungfus , sports and other games. Same thing. 8.5/10 overall rated by me and the game itself is still good despite the 5 lane and 6 lane thingy. The game is on a whole new level either way. |

QUOTE(iamkent @ Jul 20 2013, 05:45 PM) haha , that why nothing is free now .. They are misleading the fact. You can play by investing even RM0 to this game. Why? You can still struggle with more hours and efforts. The mission that are repeat is to gain more stars and the moment you play back, the challenge is different and tougher which is why it's fun! But if you have good knowledge of PvZ last time, it shouldn't be too hard.as you say then feel like free 1-2 level then need pay for continue further games . so as your point not worth for paying this games ? |

The only fuss is the few premium plants that I noticed which suppose to be costing just $0.99 for all of it instead of being rather expensive. That's the drawback of the game I have researched and found.
The rest can obtained through personal skills and knowledge of the game. Hope that clears all the doubts! Enjoy PvZ2 regardless... Make feedbacks , complaints to the FB page to let them know how much we want the plants to be either free or cost cheap for all in package! |

QUOTE(funnyTONE @ Jul 20 2013, 04:41 PM) Very dissapointed in this game. It was five lanes long ago dude... The first thing I realized is that EA has bought the license for this game from PopCap. When EA buys a company, they make sure theyre making money out of it, and that is what you'll get with PvZ2. Don't be fooled by the free apps. Once you start the first level, you'll soon realize the game is riddled with IAPs. Heck, even the plants from the previous PvZ can only be unlocked via IAP. Everything is IAPs! The graphic isn't that stellar...pretty much a similar style but with a newer sprite. Gameplay gets dumbed down from six lane to five. Nothing is a challenge except forking out money for the plants and coins required to move further into the game. Granted you can still play without purchasing anything at all, but to collect coins would mean having to re-repeat the same old mission over and over until perhaps you can barely by one premium item in-game. 1/5 star for money milking scheme |

Android or PC version comes in later. Not so fast so those who uses Apple will benefit.

QUOTE(funnyTONE @ Jul 27 2013, 09:15 PM) Tried the game throughoutthe weekend just to see how far a freemium can go. Honest feedback is great! Thank you. Indeed you require lots of effort to really go through without paying. But that's where the fun is!!! You don't want to end a game too fast if there's too much exploits either. Its really, really hard! At some point, I had to spend so much coins to get the plant food. It feels like the challenges is really out to get you, unless you spend for coins. Yes, you can get away without spending, but the reward isn't so much. Sme new plants doesn't look cool, such as the dragon plant. |

QUOTE(Cheesenium @ Jul 28 2013, 04:47 PM) Not when the game is constantly trying to convince you to pay up to make the game easier. I'm all ok if I want to spend some time to see any possible achievements that could be grabbed.http://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/RaminShokri...tion_Tricks.php This article points out some of the common tricks to trick people to pay up in F2P games. Aint touching that shit anymore. |
