Since I see lots of you posting your web design,
I post one of mine too... laugh.gif

It's a discussion board for my school's official site,
but teacher objected my proposal,
hence I had to give up this design,
remake a simple, clean & formal one...

This was my first attempt to graffiti art,
not so cool though......
done after half a month I finished my SPM exam,
and then abandoned...

Firstly, one of the registration pages...
this comes out before the formal agreement,
just a little joke for the users......

In the registration form, there's a username availability checker,
and this is a sample that comes out after they click the button...

The error page, appears when there's any error/mistake occurs...

and lastly the login page...

sorry that the web design has been abandoned before I create the content pages,
so that's all for this template......
if you're thinking to buy the design,
hehe, request it from me, I might give you for free... XD

ps~
yea I know, the colour is burning sharp...
but it's the atmosphere I wished to make, implies HOT... ^^

ps~
shoot me hard, don't bother my feeling...
I need some picky comments...

to ikram_zidane :
these are resized screenshots...
and in my proposal, I proposed to seperate the school website into two parts,
one is the informational part, and another is the e-community...
that means this is the informal one, while another is formal,
hence I didn't included any school logo inside, perhaps I should include one in the header...
btw this is an abandoned project, so I won't waste my time working on it again unless there's any task related to this template or I have the feeling to finish it suddenly...

-----------------------------------------------

to crynobone :
since this is the resized version, you might couldn't see how it looks like in the html formatted webpage...
those fonts are actually pixel fonts (windows built-in fonts: courier new), and the only graphic to load in the error page is the Oops symbol...

I've had lots of consideration for the transfer limit,
so what I did? cache-able flash for the header (so it only loads once),
seemless graphics for borders, and some quality-adjusted jpeg files...
most of the texts are only ordinary texts, not graphical text...
and anothing thing I should tell is all of these are screenshots from Internet Explorer,
which means it's already been neatly transformed to html...

so no worries, it might take a little bit longer to load the graphics, but the texts sure will come out first...

oh, sorry for misunderstanding...
I have 2 levels of validation...
first one is client side,
but to prevent problems (or perhaps hacks),
I've made a server side one...

the javascipt one will simply make an alert,
then focus to the mentioned textbox,
and the server side one will show this kind of error page...

this error page is actually not used to display this kind of errors,
it's used to display those fatal error like fail to connect the database etc...

well, I've changed the setting after remaking the website...
instead of showing the error page,
I print the form again with some notifications on the top...

hehe... me too have done many times of discussion boad scripting before,
so I know most of these user-friendly rules... laugh.gif

QUOTE(r4ydc24 @ May 16 2006, 09:52 AM)
Lemme say this upfront before telling u wat I think about the design: I'm wearing a TIE ryt now lyk I alwiz do... but I feel like I'm suffocating when I see those design... itz lyk, too heavily done wif graphics... seriously mate.. but since dat was ya abandon project, so, no much harm done.. I can say dat the graphic design was too much...  rclxub.gif
itz ok to make ya page looks HOT~ but, no need for eye-strain ryt?

thanks for your comment... smile.gif

hehe... that was the first time I try raw design...
usually I would make it very simple, neat & clean...
but then I found the designs of Tropicana Life clothes are cool,
and attracting for those youngsters,
so I gave it a try, and made this...

the remaked version is much neater now...
wanna have a look? laugh.gif

hehe... thanks... laugh.gif

for the hidden address... ermmm.....
I tried to add some decorations to make it rawer,
like what those raw designs do...
but I had no idea on what to put,
so... hehe... put that address...
actually that's just for temporary before I come out wt any idea,
but... again, 'coz it's been abandoned......

the navigation in the full scale look is better,
though it's been crazily distorted too... tongue.gif

those are buttons,
but actually 'back to' is the background,
'desserts' and 'school' are two buttons...
'desserts' is an entertaining website I created for a competition,
and I proposed to collaborate with the school website, but rejected...
'school' is the 'formal' part of the school website,
where every information can be found inside...

well, I admit it's a failure on making them distinguishable,
I'll try again next time (if there's any chance)... smile.gif

thanks for your opinion... smile.gif

ermm..... mine is smjk...
this website is considered a hidden part of the school website in my proposal...
I proposed to make a formal design, for the informational part,
which is the main part of our school website...
and this is the hidden part, where the target audience is only the students, not even the teachers...
it'll be just a place like kopitiam, discussing whatever they like...
hence I hoped to make it cachy for teenagers,
and hoped our students can communicate with each other better,
at least make more friends in school,
'coz it needs no meeting and shyness to make a friend on the internet...

I knew it's quite unacceptable, but I wished to give a try,
and hopefully our school will be the only smjk which has a portal like this......
