12 months duration... 6 months training, 6 months on-the-job.
Allowance: RM500 (from INSEP) + RM500 (from Freescale)... Total: RM1000 There's penalty if quit during the 12 months... in the range of ten's of thousand (can't remember the exact amount). On the other hand, you'll be rewarded RM6000 bonus at the end of the trainee period (if perform well during the on-the-job, you may become permanent Freescaler sooner). You'll be told all these during the interview. So think properly on what you're getting yourself into. |

they are asking me for a post of certified quality engineer but i took computer science... how much they r going to pay me after finished all this practical...and bcum a permanent worker??

My info is correct as of March 2006. Not sure if there's any changes since.
The kind of engineer work at Freescale range from Product, Process, Equipment and Test Engineer to my knowledge. Perhaps someone inside the program would be better to answer this. Basically, its a semiconductor manufacturing type of engineering work. |

i have a friend inside the program..it's somewhere near Tesco Shah Alam. Say very cham have to study on saturday, sunday rest on monday. Everytime do report, like going college like that. Just gone into On the Job training i think. Not sure how he is doing on that.
