let me share my experience with those who have bought fr gmg who is very confuse.

Now firstly, if u buy FFXIV:ARR from gmg, u will be given an activation code. Now this code is EU region. This activation code is not the original game code but it is an early access code. I have spoken to gmg support to confirm this. In the email they have provided 2 websites.

The first WEBSITE1 is for you to put an email account so that they could inform you when the game is launching.

The 2nd website2 is actually an EU SE website for you to key in ur early access code which was provided. The email actually says you can do 1 step in advance to register ur current early access key to the EU SE website.

Now my issue was i have registered an NA(North America) SE management account (SE management accounts are for you to subscribe to the game). I have use this account to log into website2 and key in the early access code as well. The game did register itself in website2 BUT it DID NOT reflect in my NA SE management account. At this point i was very worried so i wrote into SE support. i have chat with them through live chat for around 30mins. They have inform me that since the game is in eu region, it is impoosible to register the game in the NA SE management account hence i wont get to subscribe to the game with my NA SE management account. I ask them what if i made a new EU(Europe) SE management account and then register the game. They say it will work BUT i will lose the early access gifts since i already registered the early access code. Bare in mind even if your account is an EU SE management account, it will not reflect too according to support since they have not finalize anything yet. In the end they ask me to request for a new code from GMG.

Hence i wrote to GMG regarding my conversation with SE support. They find it too troublesome to change my activation code so they REFUNDED.I have made a new EU SE management account too. Ultimately i bought the game again from them and this time round i decided to hold on to the early access code until further notice.

So for those who bought from GMG, i strongly suggest you hold on to the code and do nothing besides going to WEBSITE1 to input ur email.

It might probably be some use later dealing with crafting. I've not touched ff14's crafting before .
But i believe there might be HQ of crafted equipments/items.*Or it's already there i had not noticed*
It'll allow higher chances to craft HQ.
For me.. i just follow my own birthday lol...

Macros used to be crucial in ff11 especially for ninja's. I don't think it'll do any use in ff14.
Unless u find someone sleeping inside the team. Juz macro a <call> to startled the dude up.

no you're wrong, Legacy players have early access automatically. Those who bought 1.0 but didn't pay subscription for at least 3 months during Jan 2012 - Sep 2012 didn't get Legacy status thus no auto early access. I'm one of them sadly, and have to make a pre-order just to get early access. I didn't even know SE stop all auto payment even if you've register your card because SE didn't want to charge accidently on players that had stop playing . Wish I had checked on it.

Yeah u're using on-board graphic lol if using PCI-E gfx card one sure higher the score.

When i run the character creation benchmark, i see zero spell effects throughout the cut scene (i.e. at the end of the bench, the black mage casts a spell that I can't see, and the dragon falls over dead). Any idea what is wrong with my PC?

Also, when i just open the benchmark, in the loading screen with the little mog at the bottom right corner of the screen. The screen flicker, but after the cut scene starts the flickering stops. I am confuse as hell whether i can play this game or not. (p.s: pre-ordered it)

Anyway, my score is above 10k but i encounter the above issue. Anyone can enlighten me? T.T

i gotta 2nd this. crafting in this game is indeed unique n fun. even on gathering job i find it pretty interesting. in beta i was leveling my botanist, they gave stealth... pretty awesome i must say. the fact that they dont make gathering n crafting faceroll is really a big plus

I only managed to play Lancer til lvl10 then stopped adi because dunno how to spend stat points ...lol
Then anyone knows how is the performance of lancer in higher levels? The information is so scarce due to NDA lol

i manage to grind till 32. i took a trait skill fr hunter that increase 20% dmg. wear a few gears. i must say the dmg is very satisfying. just need to know where to stand when hitting mobs for buffs. so imo for lancer, positioning is very important. ur dps will scale as u stand in the correct position facing boss. Perhaps the biggest issue i have with lancer is their lv10 job quest. the quest is located inside a horde of anolys. those fking anolys r fking annoying. so i suggest u should get ur lancer to lv10job quest asap while there r still many new players since they would help kill the anolys. if there r no one there then i suggest u dont do it till probly lv12. the anoly special attack really rape hard lol 1hit cant reduce ur hp by 75%. worst scenario is when a fate will also spawn a GIANT anoly at the same location, at this point ur pretty much gonna get fked upside down lol so run! As for stat, STR, DEX is your best friend

Imagine that housing system lets u make ur own shop to portray n sell the items u craft. It would be like building ur own kedai runcit with ur house abv. I would absolutely love this if it happens. U know like swordart hahaha. Hope this happens
