Actually it's more like everyone would like to be on the same boat. Could chat among each other. Rather then just straight 4hrs mindlessly doing quest /craft or pve...

All the legacy players will play the new arcanist, so they will try push new player to join legacy server~they need some tank and healer lol. I will join new server, i don't like see most of the players already lv50 on the starting field~haha. New game new start~ all servers is full of players~ no worry ^^

Hmm...this is weird, I paid for the digital CE Pre-Order through GreenManGaming using credit card, and got the 18 digit activation key through email already...the order was completed July 28 (Sunday), but until now, I still don't see any charges landed on my credit card...
What's your experience? How long before the charges hit your card? 3 days? 5 days? Immediately?! I am starting to worry here...

Also, I got my FFXIV account created, but haven't see any email for me to key-in that 18 digit code.
Also not sure if I should start paying subscription yet?

Tank and healer? You mean when clearing dungeons? We have Duty Finder (auto party) you know? Arcanists are everywhere.
Lv 50 should be playing on the Lv 50 fields, not starting fields.

Ok this need to stop, im sure they just joking. Is no problem when you using Duty Finder, because Duty Finder will be cross world. Im sure not everyone will play Arcanist on spot... .

1. I'm Legacy player, i will play Arcanist which this is the only point is right for the above mentioned msg.
2. I didnt push anyone to Legacy server.
3. Legacy servers have more Tank and Healer, lol
4. FYI, only 4.4% legacy players is all L50 from xivpad statistic.
5. Unless you not using Duty Finder, i don't see how you could dodge Legacy Player.

We do need healer/tank.

But we can do it ourselves.Most legacy and I can change any Disciple of War /Magic except arcanist. And this is what good FC for, helping each other.

Even if in Legacy server, all legacy players are arcanist, we can still use duty finder to get tank/healer from other new server

we definitely need a healer and a tank.. I think they had mentioned something about the holy trinity.. where you need all 3 type of roles to win a dungeon

Guys, please stop on the subject of who's pulling who's into which server.

We all have our own reasons and choices to go where we want to. It all depends on personal preferences right? Don't make it sound like a portion go to Server A, and the one in Server B will never grow. There's bound to be lots of new players in both legacy or new servers. It's not like only 20 person going to Server A and that FC is stuck with 20 members.

I am excited to meet new players and make new friends for the FF XIV journey. If you guys really wanna know, there's only a handful of people with max levels. Most already quit the game long before any good updates were out to "fix" the game during original 1.0 (better updates were only out 9 months after the fail launch). So saying legacy server will have no healer/tanker is not really true.

For me, I definitely will choose Masamune (again, I'm not trying to influence people's choice), just because I wanna meet my previous friends from FF XI, FFXIV 1.0. Plus meeting shoji here, I felt that he's a good chap and likes to help people which lead me to join his FC instead of my old friend's FC. Other than that, I am not a competative type, I don't mind taking my sweet time to max level. This time around, I want to enjoy the story. FFXI, I just rush through it, never really understanding the story, really regret it. I also hope that there are more high level crafters, so I dont have trouble getting gears from market board. Most importantly, hope to find new players, join together as a family in the FC, journeying together in the game.

Even though some may be going to Tonberry, I hope from time to time, will post some interesting story here or pretty screenshots.

So there's no need to say such thing like legacy need new player because they need some tank and healer ,etc

Sorry if my words get misunderstood. You interpreted it as "push", but I certainly do not mean any "push". I am not interested in pushing or pulling.
From my perception, you are the one creating false "facts", which indirectly "push" new players from legacy servers.
Allow me to reword and clarify.

You mentioned "push new player to join legacy server" and I was like "Huh? Why need to push?".
You elaborated that "legacy servers need tanks and healers if all legacy players play arcanists".
Correction 1: Not all legacy players will play arcanists. Legacy players are players who paid 3-months subscription fees during previous FFXIV. They are not equivalent to all-Lv50-classes players.
Correction 2: By playing arcanists, players can just solo without any problems. So, when do they need tank and healer? When clearing dungeons most of the time, of course. So, does that mean they cannot clear dungeons if there are no tanks and healers around in legacy servers? No, Duty Finder can solve such "problem". In the end, do legacy players need to "push" new players to play tank and healer for them in legacy servers? Definitely not.

Generalization is bad. You used "they", instead of "Vickyle". Why do you lump me up with those who need healer or tank? I do not get it. Moreover, I never say I do not need healer or tank.


P/S: From the way I see it, legacy players "push" new players to join legacy servers because they want to play with new players. The more the merrier, you know?
