How do Malaysians get on XBox live? I heard from a retailer that Malaysia isn't listed when signing up, is this true?

yes, malaysia isn't listed. many opt for singapore address to register. but any other listed country can also be used to register, like mine is USA

there's one loophole when you charged by CC. when coming next year and the subsequence, they will auto debit to the CC, the only way to stop it by calling directly to MS, which for my case will be the US-of-A

yesterday i try adding and removing my friendlist thru my primary account and jap account. if you decline, in the sender list will auto remove. after accept it as friend then choose remove friend, the same thing as when you decline, in the sender list of friend also will dissapear. i got 3 people still pending request, thats mean my name is in their list, maybe they didn't realise it. got another gamer from pending to dissapear, thats mean he choose decline, well dun wan be friend also nvm

i think its better to use a real address if you have one... my xbl diamond card arrived at my parents' house a week after i registered for live together with some catalogs and stuff..... nothing too fancy but its free

there's always the prepaid card.... its more expensive but heck...if you don't have a cc it sorta narrows down your choices a bit

I came across this article about Maybank having an Xbox Live. Someone point me out but the news is quite old. Is it still applicable for XBox360 owners?

it's actually a 'prepaid' credit card from Maybank SG, available in most game stores, sells for S$12 with S$10 preloaded (or S$20 with S$10 preloaded, i forgot). Can use it on XB live or on other stuff like a normal credit card. the thing is its issued in SG, need to go back to their branch to reload value, even if can online i dont have a maybank sg account.
