Personally I feel RPGT isn't big damage because ultimately the tax still imposed on the profit. Maybe just less profit for investor. But DIBS is seriously a problem especially those that loan 90% like me, RM30K of interest per year going to kill me T.T

My unit is 14th floor of Block B facing TBS. Hopefully nothing will block the balcony.

Type S. Just hoping no future project in that direction. I prefer windy and more sunlight.

Yeah i tink those investor who bought house doesnt meant for own stay and tight in cash might sell off their unit asap after vp bcz the instalmen may lead them to trouble..even 5% tats ard 30k can stay on during tis bloody fking period..tq to 'that chicken'
*
With just 5% margin likely still lose due to the loan lock down penalty. I will just keep my unit and probably rent it out.

Many people are expecting the property market to crash and grab cheaper units. But the game always depends on holding power of the properties owners. How many people willing to dispose at lower price and how many really doing so bad who can't afford to service the loan. Also consider weak ringgit has dropped 20% against major currencies, the price in fact already cheaper from the day I signed the SPA. If people can understand inflation I don't see why they expect cheaper rental or selling price. Well, if wantan mee stall owner still rising the price, what do you think about property?
