it depends u play the server is located at wherre...ifu play the server is at asia region i think it wont be that lag....but if u connect to aus or us u will lag like hell

Just for your information even playing through LAN also will have delays. It's just the matter of how big the delay is. If you play a server located nearer to Malaysia then you will have less delays or also known as lower pings. Malaysia doesn't have many CS servers but Singapore does.

I'm using RM 66 package. For the best experience, look for low ping servers. There's few of them for all CS series ; 1.6, CZ and Source. I've been playing in 2-3 Singapore-based CZ server since almost a year ago.

my connection to australia servers is much better than my connection to japan servers .. much much better .. some is even better than connection to thailand ..

Yes. If your Steam account has been registered with Condition Zero, you can just download CS 1.6.

my speed is 512kb and i play cs:s on singapore server
(limited, if u gets more than 200 latency ur autokicked from the server *sigh )
not much lag.. thai n china's servers okay too..

Last time when there was a breakdown with 219 ip, of course 218 is the only good choice for playing online games. At the moment, anything is good.

For someone like me with always 219 ip.
It's never been laggy for online play before.

apparently it is smooth, you just need to follow what this guy was saying. He had a good article about online cs nowadays, how to configure internet settings and all.
