What is the recommended engine oil for Jazz Hybrid (fully or semi syn)?
Next month I need to change my engine oil. Not interested to go to SC.

hi, since we at this issue, my jazz ckd 3 years free services and parts gonna finish soon. after that, how often should i go for car services? and is it compulsory to go to honda service centre due to the hybrid battery (need to calibrate or stg like that?) ?

If you don't do Honda service then the hybrid battery's warranty is no more. The only thing I know they do for the battery is by recharging it to full. I used to do that once every month.

To recharge to full, put gear in N or P and keep pressing the rpm slightly above 3k.

means still got to do 3 monthly at honda service to keep the battery warranty ??  sweat.gif

Yes I'm afraid so. I'm taking the risk by not going there. I had to wait long (service hour) and my car mileage is extremely low. Not forgetting expensive and very doubtful if they really change what they say.

Anybody get their air bag changed?

My Jazz Hybrid 2012 is in the list, but haven't heard anything from Honda yet.

I too didn't get the notice. Maybe CBU models are not effected?

Or we should start wearing heavy shield armor... sweat.gif

Anyway I disabled the passenger air bag as my wife is expecting.

Yeah suppose too as it's also 2012 CBU but no letter.
But my previous honda model 2008, i got 3 different letters ( for different items) last year to change. But I already sold that car.

I got my airbag changed yesterday near Jaya One.
For Jazz Hyrbid CBU model, only the driver seat Airbag required to be change. The other 5 airbags are not affected. I went there very early with appointment so got it done about 30 minutes.
Staff there was polite and nice. If your model and manufactured date is affected then it's best to change it ASAP and it's free.

All you need to do is call the hotline and give your car no. plate. They will then confirm if your car is affected.

My shock absorber is leaking for Hybrid Jazz 2012 CBU. Do you all know how much is it if you do it Honda SC or do it outside is better?
