Having managed to sell off my second car recently before I go off on a 3-4 month working stint overseas next month, I will be in the market for a new one when I come back.

I was pretty much decided on a Jazz Hybrid until I remembered that my parents will probably be using it every so often to go to Karak durian orchards, Cameron Highlands and other similar places where there will be some off-road and somewhat challenging driving conditions.

I always had the impression that hybrid cars should really be left to routine urban driving conditions on city roads and highways, so was wondering if I would be better off getting a 'regular' non-Hybrid Jazz instead.

Any opinions would be appreciated.
