My frens also told me that he was told that buying CKD is much better, not only cheaper compare to CBU unit, but also hv added extra 5 features that was not offered in CBU version, such as auto rain sensor, paddle shift etc.... hehe..
*
Thought it is the other way round? CBU is with more functions compared to CKD.

with the diff 3-4k , better get Hybrid for fuel save.
*
Ya, share the same thought. I was considering petrol & hybrid, but decided on hybrid. Besides the fuel saving, I do not like the control knots for air-cond in Jazz petrol...

oh , I think outside accessory shop more cheaper,  can try find outside first, if outside price higher , 1st services only install .
*
Is the visor really useful or more for aesthetic? The only function I can think of is to wind down the window a little bit when parking outdoor to reduce the heat caught inside the car. Anything else?

rm2xx one the color will match exactly? or approximate match?

btw, just nw when try to refill petrol...i cannot open that petrol lid... doh.gif  doh.gif

and i baru found out reason...it was my habit to lock the door when filling petrol...and when u lock the jazz, the petrol door cannot open.. doh.gif

meaning u guys pump petrol without locking the car?
*
I am not used to Jazz too. I always lock the car whenever I get out from car before going to the petrol pump. I believe you need to open the petrol lid first then only lock the car? doh.gif Is this the only way? Others please advise

If you lock the car after opening the petrol lid, then you cannot close the petrol lid. You have to unlock the car in order to close it.

When you lock the car there is a needle pops into the hinge of the petrol lid to act as a lock. So when petrol lid is opened and you lock the car, the locking needle appears and you can't close the lid.

Just try it out by opening the petrol lid and lock the car. The car gets locked and you will see the visible needle.

Thanks. I knew about it, just that not used to it only.

Can la .. those test 20km/l.. they got show you traffic jam or not.
look at my fuelly.com record..

I drive with real malaysian road,
Jam almost every day,
Tyre width incresed from 165 to 205

still can get 18km/l AVERAGE calculate from buy car
per tank got before >20km/l ..
and i know mine is not the best yet.. i drive like cow.
*
Hi gid, what is your experience after increasing your tyre from 165 to 205? In term of stability / handling and also fuel consumption.
I find that 165 is small...

I noticed driving on long distance, FC is very good.
But the last 1 clocked in for city drive, 7.2 l/100km or 14km/l, is it normal? seems very high FC
By the way, just serviced for 1k

Ya, I am surprised too. Driving normally and didnt accelerate / brake suddenly.
Read in the past posts, FC will improve after 2nd or 3rd service, it means after 5k?
