I went to mofaz for 15K maintenance.
Odometer is only 7100KM though.

RM270.
Came back home and check honda website, RM186.
wait what?

//update.
ok receipt says fully synthetic oil because mofaz gave me a coupon for 0-20W full synth.
the other extra is tyre rear and front swap plus alignment.
so i guess the numbers are correct.

another thing.
the free service used semi synthetic.
now on the full synthetic, engine seems smoother and the judder during auto stop is less or even seamless.
could be placebo, but would use again.

Urs is cbu or ckd? What items they change for this service?
*
CBU.

15K labour RM63
SM 0w-20 full synthetic RM 150.59 (25% discount from mofaz coupon) RM 112.94 after discount.
washer RM2.10
oil filter RM30.68 after 25% discount RM23.01
alignment + wheel rotation labour RM62
service tax RM7.50

total RM270.55

I know wheel rotation is during 10K KM, I guess they want to do it early. I guess I should insist to do it my way next time because by the time next service mileage would probably be ~10K KM.

they didn't give me the oil can or bottle, but i know they did change it. there's a different feeling to the engine.

I think 15k nvr include alignment, wheel rotation and full syn oil.. If u deduct those, it will be almost same with Honda website I think..

what's the normal oil?
semi-synthethic?

yet another trip to klia.
free service with semi synthetic oil. 5.2l/100km.
paid service with 0w-20 full synthethic. 4.7l/100km.
on the nkve adhering to the speed limit, so 90-110kmh.
auto stop vibrates less to seamless.
engine purrs like a kitten after it gets up to temperature. noticeably quieter.
keeping 110km/h noticeably takes less effort.
100km/h at just below 2000rpm.

i'll try to hypermile for my yet another trip to klia later this week.

if you can add rm20-30 to get the 0w-20, it is worth it.
you'll get your money back after 2000-3000km.

would use again.

lol..yeah. meeting him on monday. car dealer wanna see the current car. then pay deposit too.
*
do try the petrol version.
what i hate about the hybrid is the cvt.
if you drive slow like me, it's fine but when i do wanna go fast. lol nope.
at 15k price difference, it will be a long time to get it back just on fuel conservation.
but muh enviroment?
you still have to count the impact manufacturing those batteries, mining, transport, processing, etc.

my sister bought the car last year before the petrol version is ckd'd, but if she's buying today i would say get the petrol version. she agreed.

Where to see the 100% pass status? What is the spec?

Btw, y this thread like dying d?
*
open hood.
look at battery.
turn the battery tester.
see led light up.

called my usual mechanic to change the battery, didn't buy from honda.
nimh battery gets to full charge easier, the old battery might be draining it because can't keep a charge.

I've changed mine when my headlight starts to dimmed significantly. A sign that the 12v battery is really weak.

I use Panasonic 38B19L (April 2015) for RM190
*
the original 12V battery died in my sister's car.
just put in a cheap century battery.
it works.

>they put in a panasonic
>recall after it's dead
huehuehue

i have to send my sister's car, mechanical warranty is all done.
what i'm doing is just monitor the oil.
with the FS 0w-20, i waited till 11k km to get it changed. i initially wanted to go at 10k, but a little lazy.
the oil is dark at this mileage, but not pitch black like my oil burning wira.
oil level is still full and viscosity is thin and runny.
I think 8-9k km is a good mileage to change if you want to keep the internals squeaky clean. 10k is fine too and it's the rated mileage for the oil.
make sure to get the oil filter change.
so in reality i'm getting it serviced only once a year. almost.
just monitor it twice a month or so.

if you think i'm crazy, i think honda is crazy.

mine works ? can you explain more ...

noticeable mean u can see battery drain faster than normal when uphill ?

and still no issue right ?
*
No issue.
Example,
When new can go the highest point lekas highway with battery.
Now halfway, battery runs out, engine will take power away to recharge. Still can go up at 80 to 90kmh, not on full throttle.
Normal drive in kl, no problem, it doesn't try to charge while on throttle.

yeah .. i'm thinking to check my 12v battery. I have strong feeling with that issue.

My car haven't run out hybrid battery yet ... but it goes down until less than half.

Let me change the 12v battery first .. and thinking of changing it to non-MF battery.

any brand should be okay right ?
*
yes, you should periodically change your 12V even if didn't die, because it's harder to die when the nimh is doing the job. i bought on lesapda 11/11.
rm150 for 4s professional battery.
the old one can sell to old newspaper guy.
