Wow I guess shouldn't have to worry about my lead acid battery yet then, since its only 15 months old and lest service the SC said the battery was still 100%.
Thank you for the reply.

My Jazz Hybrid 2012 (CBU) is still running on it's 2nd battery.  3++ years old already. Maybe due for new one in coming months. I can see the dimming of headlight when I switch on the car. When the engine starts, the headlight brightens. Tell tale of weaken 12v lead acid battery.  sweat.gif

The lead acid battery should last long because it never been used to crank the engine, to start the engine, IMA hybrid motor will do the cranking instead. Basically, the 12v lead acid never been used to crank.  thumbup.gif  Longer life span.

I see. I drive the 2017 City Hybrid. Driven says the engine is cranked by the 12V battery instead of the lithium battery. Need to check with my SA then. Thanks again.

Edit: A fellow City Hybrid says the lead acid battery is charged the right way so I shouldn't need to worry. By that I think he means the lithium battery drip charges the lead acid I guess.
