Yes no alarm triggered when you open straight away. I think you have to wait about 40 seconds and then open. I tried just before 2 minutes and the alarm went on.

Diff driving condition, diff result i supposed. How's consumption between your old forte n jazz?

Well, maybe ahpingko has a reason to complain about his jazz fuel consumption. Maybe forte did quite ok also, that's why i asked although it's not apple to apple comparison. Sometimes, some prefer orange, and some prefer apple.

I think that is because of your area. If you hv too many traffic lights, bumps  or slow moving traffic then the fc is not really good. Usually the 1st and 2nd gear takes up fuel like crazy in any car.

I used to go to one restaurant for dinner near my place. It's nearby but with traffic lights and slow moving and lots of bump on the road, this makes my fc bad. If I use a petrol car it's worst.

You can always reset dashboard display and try going to some close places. See how many liters it takes. And then reset again and go on normal trafic roads. Compare and do an analysis there to see how the fc behaves.

Found that my Jazz Petrol engine noisy. Not sure is the sound proof problem or engine sound. Aynone facing this problem??
