5k tak cukup ah these days. Now everything price increase. Maybe 5 years ago it is a lot of money.. but not anymore.

5k base.. after minus is only 4.2k+. Title may or may not be important and is usually use for decorative purposes most of the time.

If you interview people before you will notice that some people have such fancy title, but don't have much knowledge/experience/skills. It isn't always necessary that high title = high pay. Titles are also given cheaply in some companies. Imagine a "Manager" with a salary of 3k and a normal "Engineer" which earns 5k... which would you prefer?

Actually now I will try to strike a balance between work and life but with a salary around 3K region I wonder how I should proceed. Like now I am currently living with my parent but I can't say that I am all happy and thought of getting an apartment. (maybe around 180K) apartment. Should I just rent first before I make the big leap or buy an apartment first? I am still single currently.

For me i always note that my monthly expenditure is around 800 -1k(Inclusive of insurance,LRT ticket and streamyx) and I really wonder how ppl around the RM2.5K figure can still manage to get a house and still live quite well. Where do they stay? Rawang? Kajang? I sure am a noob at managing money now and look forward to some feedbacks on how to live life.

well, i also have a question to ask.. currently there are 3 companies that are offering me jobs one is Intel, pay RM2.5k work in the design center , 1-time settling allowance 3k. job scope validation engineer

altera offering 3.4k inclusive of 2 months bonus.. no additional bonus. job scope software engineer.

avago tech, 2.8k salary .. digital signal processing. making LED and laser mouse.. formerly part of agilent.

or continue masters.. or some of you have the thinking that engineer make the worst employee? as i worked in intel b4 as an intern. Mayb switch to other field? any expert engineer advise?
