if he lay down means hes tired lo
if you force him too much also not sure it will benefit...hes puppy right, maybe hes not super fit...slowly train him day by day and increase the distance weekly i guess how tight is his collar? 2-3 fingers can fit between his collar and neck? |

ok...why dont you try this...try to walk him the same distance in your house compound compared to outside
if he stop and lay down means you know hes tired...then maybe you need to send to vet to check if hes having any health problem. if he can walk with you no problem then maybe he dont like to walking outside or scared of outside environment...if this is the case then you can slowly train him to walk outside of your house. Added on January 30, 2007, 1:21 pm QUOTE(won @ Jan 30 2007, 11:51 AM) I am actually taking him out for a walk in hope of releasing some of his pent up energy as he is very hyper and likes to look for stuffs to chew when he too free. But that doesn't seem to work as he don't like to walk..... btw...all puppies will chew and destroy your things at a certain age coz their gigi is itchy...best you can do is quarantine him where he cant destroy your things/harm himself by biting wire and still give some space to be free i dont think walking him till tired will solve this problem. after a certain age he will stop destroying your things my dog also last time when young damn troublesome, walk out to go to car he will jump on you and all the footprints on your pants and shirt, have to go and change again. come back he will jump on the car window to greet you and the car full of scracthes at the window. say NO!! how many million times to him when he was young lol but now he is ok la lol This post has been edited by baracuda: Jan 30 2007, 01:21 PM |
