QUOTE(anarchist @ Aug 27 2006, 09:24 AM) he need meat also... thanks for your advise... ill try that... since he likes rice, why not buy dry dog food and mix with the rice while its boiling in the rice cooker, then after cooked already mix it all up properly... mix some vegetable oil with it... after some time you can just start feeding him normal dry food hell get used to it. another is can go to market in the morning get some fresh chicken meat and let him eat, cook it first as im sure he wont be used to it raw. You can boil it together with the rice. I change my dogs food usually. Sometimes give dry, sometimes porridge, sometimes raw meat with bones... Their fur is really nice especially my german shepherd which really shines... |

QUOTE(anarchist @ Aug 30 2006, 05:38 PM) which vet do you go to? i am in sarawak, miri area. the previous et my GR went to.. is an *******... the kind that wanna suck up ur money.. so i dun know if i really should trust what he says... he's the one that says my GR needs steroid injection.i know the one near crystal crown is a good vet, hes a veteran and knows his stuff... so does he eat his food now? the vet my GR currently is visiting only advise me to give him chondroitin and Glucosamine.. his hind legs seems to have improved since i brought him back. but still.. his hind legs only has skin on his bone.. no muscle... and i doubt that is normal?? i treid to search the web about steroid injection in canines.. it says will have side effect.... so am worried and wonder if my GR really needs a steroid injection.. when i first brought him back, he did not eat anything.. he did not wanna eat anything... i thought he was homesick.. so i brought him to the vet to cehck him out.. turns out, he's sick.. down with fever.. so no appetite... after eating the medicines... he's fine now... right now.. he's on eagle pack's kibble for large breedpuppy. eats twice a day.. for dinner i mix his kibbles with da canned meaty thingee.... he finishes it... he's more plump now.. but still.. has no muscles on his hind legs.. i worry that if he gains his weight back..his hind legs cannot support his body weight.. errr... how??? please help... |
