Didn't know there's a retriever page here. Can't resist to post some of the photos of my 2 and a 1/2 retrievers. I'm a big big big GR fan. 

In reply to one of the queries of how to manage GR's fur, vacuum the house everyday and comb them with slicker comb often to remove the loose dead hairs.
