M@r0R!, don't be sad. I understand your feeling now, as I just lost my hedgie 2 days ago. You should be happy as your dog went to the heaven, enjoying his life, playing together with his new friends.

Do you know the cause of it?

As for my case, I have to make the most difficult decision whether to put him to sleep or not after I found my hedgie was infected with uncurable disease. Trust me, it's really the hardest decision I need to make in my life.

I'm sure your dog wouldn't want you to be sad. Think of the happy times that you've shared with your GR. At least your dog is lucky to be able to spend 8 happy years with you compare to those dogs that are abandoned. You should be happy to know that you've given your dog a good life. smile.gif

Like what snowcandy said, think about the happy moments you spent with Bengie. He don't like to see you sad. As long as you remember him in your heart, i bet he'll be very happy about it. wink.gif

Give it some time, you'll feel lonely without Bengie for now but as time passes, it wouldn't feel that bad. Maybe you'll be thinking and laughing about the great moments that the both of you shared after a while.

It's normal to cry.. Try looking through some old pictures of Bengie, maybe you'll come across some pictures that will make you smile and laugh instead.

He might not be with you now, but he'll be in your heart forever. Look back at the pics you took with him whenever you miss him, it might help.
