better u check probably... like me buy cheap but end up use more money... lucky now prince is quite healthy (even is slim ) so you better do more research on retreiver rather than find the cheap 1.

Yalor. I am also having a hassle on the drying part, so I prefer to bath him when it is hot and sunny - then easier to dry. Shushu chew his towel also - now all his towel berlubang lubang already 
Golden is a large breed, so they need lots of food. You have to prepare to buy about 10kg of kibbles (dry dog food) per month. Just follow the instruction on the kibbles packet on how much you need to feed.

Sorry for being a lil lazy to go tru all the pages as i know the answer to my question should be in it.
I'll be getting a GR pup real soon, in a week time at most but i have not bought any of the stuff.

I would like some recommendations of the list below and where to get it if possible

Congrats on your new pup! Male or female leh? Remember to take pics of your furkid and post it for us to see le As for food, maybe you ask the breeder/owner what they have been feeding the pups. Then you gradually switch to whatever that you think is suitable.

Suddenly change diet will cause the pup to lau-sai. Last time Chelsea lau-sai so bad.

BTW, Prince pappy, Simchi and Hamster9 -- want to have another swimming trip or not? This saturday 29th. If enough kaki, we go again Ask Ann if she want to join or not

Yesterday shushu had a big feast - he tore open the 15kg bag of dog food and help himself with it. 
I think he was very happy he could "hunt" his own food - when we come home, the first thing he did was to lead us to the torn bag and play with the shredded packaging right in front of us   
I have to put him on a diet now.......

whuah... remember to weight him and tell us how much he gained!! dats pretty aggressive =P ive been told that the owner of my potential dog is busy on saturday so i cant get it from her.. now gotta get it on sunday.. zzzzzzz.. i hate waiting =(

Shushu baby so keng, manage to tear open the bag ar? So hard leh? Lucky so far my furkids never do that before although Abby sometimes tip her feeding bowl over and likes to 'hunt' for the stray kibbles

Its going to be a she ( not too naughty ) and the name " Chi chi" 

I have 2 choices, a female (7 week old ) thats without MKA for RM750 or a Female thats 7weeks old and with MKA for RM1300. I have shortlisted it to this two. Both are not Vaced yet as per both of the owner.

For the time being im cleaning up a room just for her, keeping all the unrelated stuff up high on the shelf and out of her reach.

Going to do shopping on this Sunday for all her stuff (Food, treats, den, toys, others) that sure will leave a big dent on my wallet  and any volunteers to tag along for some advice ? Lunch and drinks on me.

But this time, it is a new bag of food and he managed to shred the outer layer of the packaging into bits and bite open the aluminium part..... today can see the effect of his binge - poo a lot and all soft soft

Wah who not take care of him ? ...he sick and I am the 1st one who bring to vet and on leave ah... he is the one who eat more supplement that me No la.. just  fever only and doctor scare is tick fever so just inject a tick fever injection for prevention. Now is getting better, wednesday that time he also cannot move just sleep whole day. Now can run here and there... getting better.

Hi guys, just came back visit my soon to be chi chi  , she is super energetic today compare to the last time i see her, playing tug of war with me non stop and nimble my hand till my whole hand is full of her saliva   

One thing hor, the breeders say she has 5 siblings and her vet card might have been mixed up with the rest
EG, vet card microchip number might not be hers one, could be her sis or bro one.
The owner ask me to go for a scan of the microchip number and verified and if wrong, she will get the right one back for me. Does this sound a lil fishy to you guys ?  and where can i get a scan on the chip ?

Got Chi chi back today, she is super duper cute. bargain like hell with owner  but alas

The first thing that comes to my mind when i see her sleep is roast piglet    but she is just lovely

according to afriend, everything about Haley looks like a retriever except for the legs and teeth of a rottweiler. then again, i've seen any retriever pup or rott pup before so i dunno whether true or not.

Haley stopped whinning ever since i let her sleep outside the cage, most of the time she'll be tied up just to keep her safe and we'll let her off the leash as soon as we wake up so she can do her businesses in the garden.

Gave her a bath last saturday afternoon and it was a hilarous affair. She ran with her tail between her legs back into the house after i applied shampoo on her and she was whinning all the way.. HAHA..
