Hmmm, I think it will be a small birthday celebration for shushu, just family - no other dog  . Most probably a joint celebration, coz my brother, sister and grandma birthday also next month, only a few days apart.    will be very broke buying presents

Must be very nice got so many dogs to play with. My relatives don't really have any pet dogs. So, I always go and kacau other doggies during shushu's training session

Nope, don't think so. Shushu not used to travelling long distance yet and I am not familliar with 1U direction (presume I am driving). I am direction hopeless . U will find me desperately circling around KL area in vain with a barky dog at the passenger seat behind ..........

Bring her to Port Dickson beach nia...at 4th mile, Royal Port Dickson Yatch Club. But then got people complain. Last time people can bring their furkids to swim at the beach. I guessed the rules changed

I guess Abby is more dominant than Chelsea based on their behaviour. Probably she is too excited to meet other new dogs and wanted play. Sometimes shushu is like that, especially since he is the only dog in the house. That's one of the reason I bring him to training every week, so he can socialise with the other dogs and wouldn't get so hyper when seeing other dogs.

I haven't brought shushu swimming before.    Dunno any place near my house that allows dogs.
I did try giving him a baby pool to play with water, but he likes to scratch at the bottom of the pool so much. He end up making a hole in the pool the first time i fill it up with water. Well, that's the end of the baby pool. 

Hi all, i own one golden retriever too. I wondering you guy's retrievers will scare when raining day? Especially stormy rain... No idea how to help him...

Shushu is not affected by thunderstorm or firecrackers He will just play with his toys like nothing is happening.
Probably because at the training there some of the trainers also train protection dogs. Sometimes, the trainers will make the dogs down and stay and then throw something noisy to frighten them. This is to train the doggies not to be easily scare by sudden noise, and bolt/endanger their lives. The trainers even light firecrackers once!
I think Crazymouse gave a very good advice last time on this. She said she always play with her dogs during thunderstorm so her dogs will associate the thunderstorm with sometimes nice and fun and not to be afraid of it anymore.
Shushu hate the hairdryers, but he bark at it nonstop until i switch it off. Same with vacumm cleaner. So cannot said "shushu quiet, if not i blow the hairdryer at u" 
Hmm, agree with Simchi, he looks a bit thin .... spend a little bit more time on him, sure will grow nice and beautiful. 

Last sunday I bring shushu to his very first outing, to Pantai Remis. 
The Ipoh MKA trainers have a demo there and a lot of the dog owners follow for the demo.

Shushu is a bit better now. That's one of the reason I bring him to this outing. When he arrive there, he keep barking at the other dogs and people. After a while, he calm down and was ok throughout the event.

That's good to hear!  Hope abby enjoy herself there and remember to post the pictures!!!

Yup, very nice outing. It is very fun to bring your dog out where there is no restriction to where they can go and the doggies are not avoided by the people there.  Everyone loves to sayang them, even the 2 hyper Dobbies you mentioned!! 
I think shushu enjoy himself very much there coz so many people sayang him and take photos with him    He was very tired on the journey back.

Forgot to mention. I just visited Prince's blog.....Prince looks very nice after the grooming. The party looks very fun wor......I also want a fruit tart

Not sure about the jumping part.....Last time, while stopping at a traffic light, shushu saw a doggy inside the house beside the road. He stand on the car seat and bark the dog until the traffic light turn green and the car move, so noisy.
Lol, both of my car rear seat window is blurry now, with shushu saliva.

So far, the GR I see all very gentle, but some very playful... even the ACS is more aggressive than the GR. THe ACS can climb on shushu and lick his ears nonstop until he has to back off. 
Yang's maltese all very ladylike!! Our GRs like samseng....

M2K2Land, you are so enthusiatic!    I need to get myself a driver/ companion first if going. Cannot manage shushu while driving alone.

Fellow GR friends, I don't own a GR, but a friend of mine does. I wanna ask is, does GR has strong smells?? I told my friend that his dog is smelly, I said the poo is smelly or maybe he didn't bath the dog.. but he said he just bath the dog yesterday and try to convince me that the smell is "dog smell".... but I am sure the smell is too strong to be the "dog smell"... as I can smell from the front door even though the dog is at the back of the house??

Not really true al.. small less smell meh? hahaha my prince sometime smelly also when raining day... I think it just like when the coat got water and cannot dry. That the smell... but for me prince smell teruk i like la..

Saliva no smell 1 ... yes ear is the problem... sometime come out the smell... use cologne la.. prince use wor and remember keep the dog and the place clean

ear ar... never check that one wor... next time i see the dog then i go check check and see hahahha =)

Yes . I agree . Sometimes , when our relatives or friends drop over , they'll say wah your house smell like dog smell . but i like it

My car is forever full of dog fur now. I take shushu out for a car ride at least twice a week, used to vacuum it every time after the trip but now very lazy already.    So now, the car can only fetch 2 person, the driver and the front passenger. Back seat already reserved by shushu, too much fur, nobody would want to sit also....
tell them it is actually a new type of perfume, called scent of fala  
Playing with furkids sure will get some fur on the clothing. If she must complain, ask her to put on a rain coat first before playing with chelsea and abby lor
