Mozilla has recently released the next alpha version of Bon Echo (which will become Firefox 2), Bon Echo Alpha 2. This version is a huge step up from the Alpha 1, which seemed to have no changes besides the close button being moved on to the tabs. Among the new features are an RSS reader (similar to that of Safari and the one to be included in Microsoft Internet Explorer 7), a spell checker, and automatic restoration of your Firefox setup after a crash. This release is also a huge step up from Alpha 1 on a stability standpoint; many less crashes than before.

It is not a beta. It's still an alpha release.

I did notice that Bon Echo takes a lot of time to load than the current version of Firefox sad.gif
