k. understandable why you charge that rate. smile.gif make sure you remember to raise the price as your skills increase.

I don't agree with how some pros say you MUST NOT CHARGE CHEAP / FREE. I find that when skill is not there, it's fair that you charge cheap.

Before engage on a project, just present the portfolio and price. If people see the photo and still wish to engage you, good for you. Take the opportunity to gain experience.

Even I started cheap. I start cheap to gain portfolio. Now I charge a lot more.

Actually is depends what you provided to customer and what customer can afford. My customer is taking up 1.8k or above for 1 actual wedding packages however some of cust do request lower packages around 800-1.5k but I do provided that packages too but that packages will do by my another team.

More experience photographer mostly they charge over 1k or more because it's takes few years of exp and a lot time to learn. Customer love to compared price exspecially take cheaper quote to compared over with ours. Another might give RM500 for full actual wedding but sorry our packages can't be that low. If prefer Rm500 then please go ahead.

Those learning or starting on wedding photography, possible bring a more exp photographer to guide you during the wedding. Don't screw up because customer wedding only once for whole life. No more retake shot like portraits. They trust you with it and please don't fool around.

It is simply not possible for a full time photographer to live by selling his services at RM 500 per full wedding day photography session.

Only possible way is that the person is either a part-timer or a very close friend/family who's doing you a favor.

I charge RM 200 for actual day wedding.
Per hour. Per Photographer (min 2)

Up to 50% family and friends discount may apply
