So here is the comparison

C200 - Kompressor (2008) AMG Spec model - ODO 25k run - RM 165k

or

C200 - CGI (2010) Avant Garde Spec - ODO 25k - RM 175k

Which one would choose ?

I would go for CGI engine. And if possible go for C250 equipped with Dynamic Handling Package. Once it is switched on, the suspension get stiffer, accelerator gets more sensitive, gear shifting a higher rpm, it is where the fun kicks in smile.gif

Get the CGI. And if possible, find a local spec. =)

A brand new C200 is advertised at only RM229k compared to list price of RM262k prior to Hap Seng throwing the price in Nov 2012.
Comes with 4 years warranty.
If you buy a recon unit, unless you are lucky, you are looking at say RM5k to 10k per annum minimum for the next few years to change malfunctioned parts.
Works out to be less risky to buy a brand new one and guaranteed no changing of malfunction parts for 4 years except for servicing ( which is not cheap )
Or if you feel the difference is to big look for a used one which is one or two years old with 2 years warranty left. At least you have a piece of mind.

12 k interval for service and around 1.2k each. U called this exp. ? How about Jap? My ex Honda accord per service was around 550 per 5 k interval. Agreed on the part that local is better interms of peace of mind on the warranty and its a brand new car.

My Lotus Exige 10k service only RM 700 and that is a sports car. So relatively expensive to me.
But I guess different people has different definition of expensive.

same here confused! first set for C200 then when I tested the C250 felt in love with the power. Is the extra 30K worth it.

30k for extra HP and torque. Dynamic Handling package. These two points already worth paying extra.
Additional you won't find it on C200 are: GPS, DVD (not playable while in motion), Internet (work well with Android phone, not iPhone).
