haha true. been playing since 08 but now, tf2 is filled with traders.
dota 2 is slowly but surely becoming a hat trading game
Maybe, but I very much doubt dota will ever be another hat simulator like tf2.dota 2 is slowly but surely becoming a hat trading game
TF2 turned into this ugly beast cuz there is no other avenue of expansion for the franchise.
Look at TF2 competitive, despite 1 or 2 players I support, there is no actual involvement of the community for it.
Its just there, the elitist and div 1 competitive players and then us, the regular people just wanting to have a bit-o fun.
Other than that, its just hats and more hats.
Dota2 however, will go far.
The community is huge, the fanbase is even bigger, and its history goes waaay back into my primary days.
Competitions, casters, (possible) new heroes and community created content (art, media, workshop, videos) are what drives the Dota2-sphere, not TF2 unusual hats, which unfortunately, has declined to such a state.
The hats are just an optional bonus, if you wish to make ur favourite hero look awesome.
I mean, who doesn't like it customizing their fav hero to look like a space marine (silencer set
