I was queuing with Shaolin Tiger. Solo queue is garbage anyways, I prefer to go up against 5-stacks.

MATCHMAKING
- People who decline Matchmaking are temporarily restricted from searching for 45 seconds.
- Parties are more likely to be matched against other similarly sized parties.
- When matching parties, the matchmaker now also considers the minimum experience level on both teams rather than just the average.
- Reduced the average skill variance in games where there are 10 individual players.
- Fixed a bug in the matchmaker that was causing it to insufficiently segregate players based on win count.
- Fixed a bug that would cause excessive queue times, especially for large parties or high skill players.

Playing alone isn't that bad. Personally, I prefer to queue alone. Got higher chance of meeting pro players.

No la. Higher bracket solo play quite worth it. Even Quote gets better games when he solo. The MM doesn't work well if you stack with people in different skill brackets. Let's hope that tomorrow's fix will make this a thing of the past.

I like the approach Valve is taking with the character models. Instead of bombarding users with tons of details, they introduce it bit by bit. Makes it a whole lot easier to move to D2 from D1 etc.

No. If you read the changelog, it says "the matchmaker now also considers the minimum experience level on both teams". Previously, it used a combination of the average party experience. Consider the following:

Team A player ratings (average 3000):
3000
3000
3000
3000
3000

Team B player ratings (average 3000):
1000
3000
5000
4000
2000

Clearly, the teams are unbalanced because we cannot assign lanes to players, i.e. the 5000 player could lane against the 3000 solo and dominate the lane. Similarly a 3000 player on A could meet the 1000 player on B and dominate him.

Also only implies its inclusion. It can be a conditional structure, not necessarily a direct one.
