hi, I am helping my friend asking this question, he is the new user for mac mini, anyway.. but he is using the non apple keyboard, can anyone here so kind to teach how to map the keyboard function?

u mean map F1-F12 key or just reassign cmd & option key?. for reassign cmd & option go 2 macupdate.com & search for 'uControl'.
