des wai.. last time 1+year ago, i take my RX8 go trade in for VW 1.4golf.. when i sit inside the VW.. then suddenly i change my mind liao.. not to say rx8 is better but supposed to make me feel like going into a very upmarket german car.. but didnt have that effect..

as for the stability, maybe too much weight on the front.. rather than a more balance car like bmw.. (which i think your bro with 4 bmw might be used to those 50:50 weight distribution..)

Bringing in normal spec first, and there is a possibility that they will bring in the performance spec later on, but this is not confirmed.

especially when used to driving rotary rx8, when i switch to test drive those 2.4- 3L big car. suddenly feel why the big engine car very hard to corner wan.. cos huge engine in front causing the car not to change lane as easy as the lighter engine well balanced car..

Mercedes just got my vote for this... can't get my eye off this beauty...

I was surprised at how cramped the rear seats of the A200 was when I sat in it during its roadshow at Paradigm Mall.

It makes the myvi feel very spacious tbh.

Golf polo are so overrated and overpriced. I rather get a fiesta and keep the remaining 100k+

But not in this case.

This was what the A-Class used to look like:

Mercedes Benz realised that they were missing out in the hot-hatch battle while VW, BMW, Ford, Renault etc were making a lot of money out of it. Hence the reason the A-Class now comes with a 2.0L Turbo and looks like this:

A250 at bintang is shit, IMO. no option for customization, no illuminated star, no kevlar interior, no black+red stitching seats, not even a fking sunroof and who knows what else. price should be around scirocco range. ugh


compare that to the SG edition..... fuhhhhhh so many options to choose from

Why not? Same segment, both 2.0 turbocharge produce roughly the same power (Ok, the A class is a lil bit more powerful though personally I think its 7 speed auto does dull the experience a lil bit), roughly in the same price bracket.

When it came to cornering, chassis wise, I prefer the gti. But I voted the A250 because I'm vain. Not a fan of VW tbh. hahaha.

Even if a250 is fwd. I dont care because i voted a250.

My only complain, the exhaust doesn't sound as nice as Golf GTI.

I also think the screen is a bit small, but its a hatch anyway, doesn't need a big one, so I'll let that one slide.

this review is SPOT-ON. especially towards the end, which summarises very well.

if you want a livelier, more exciting car, then definitely the golf gti/R.


but in the real world, often times you don't really care about the exciting factor. like when you're in a jam, when you're waiting for someone, when you're on a long straight drive like on PLUS, being comfortable is so much better whether you're standing still or cruising. because both cars definitely can reach 200kph easily, and there is no real reason why you want to beyond that. reaching 200kph pon is not even 50% of the time you own the car, let alone reaching 200 AT ALL.

when the times you need an exciting car around the bends, the merc is GOOD ENOUGH to be enjoyable, even with the A250.

an example: when I go back to Kelantan, my old beemer was awesome, scirocco is even an awesomer drive, but both makes me tired at the end. but the CLS? not as good of a drive, but damn such a comfy and relaxed/tak penat drive.
