btw.... with the ripple effect mode... will the keys all register when the user typed with substantial speed??? because last time in the demo, even the Deck's also shows signs of struggling when the user pressed the keys too fast or too many keys at a time... the ripple effect will not be triggered.. hmm.gif

I believe the registering of keys will have no problems, cause normally backlit will use separate circuit and controller.

Armageddon Hornet!!! NOT.

Try to find of you can still get shine2 tkl. If not, you may consider china boards or local boards which can mount LEDs, but you should be prepared to kiss the warranty goodbye.

yea... the keys can register alright... just the lighting cannot keep up with the keypresses, that's what i think... hmm.gif hmm.gif

for example, since it is NKRO, when you pressed all the keys on the board, ALL the ripples cant be created... hmm.gif

if you straight convert from rubber dome to topre, I don't think you'll notice the difference...

while is it good for gaming/typing... that really depends on your own preference..

for example, I might enjoy typing on MX Red switch... but some absolutely hate it because easier to typo..
