From the pics, it look like a Blackberry crossed with a Nokia 6680 into the size of an O2 Mini. Nice solid and classy look to it.

Has the price been revealed? I read that article in NST but it did not state the price of the P525.

I didn't have time to scout around the place. Was there a Stall displaying NOKIA N-Series Handphones? They have the metal look like the 525. I wonder if they feel the same.

525 is stainless steel issit?

Is it true that the PC-Fair was only for launching and that the units for sale would be out later this month?

Not really impatient in that sense, coz i wanna compare this with Dopod 838 pro, and P990i. I think this should be my choice coz it's much cheaper than the other two. If i like it, i might get it biggrin.gif I'm not that loaded anyway... the only concern would be the size, coz spec shows it's bigger than the Dopod 838 pro and P990i. Will go to lowyat with my parrents next week and hopefully can get one of these by then biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

agree with Nevland. They are losing business and potential buyers to DOPOD and O2 even though on paper their performance has been rated the best of the lot. They should confirm a date and release it but unfortunatly the best time I feel which was PC-Fair a few weeks back has long passed.

its not just a phone but a pda phone. so how much is the cheapest 3G, Edge, PDA Phone?
*
Well that depends if you're looking for a Symbian based 3G Pda/phone or a WinMobile 3G Pda/Phone.

SE P 990i(-/+RM3K) is Symbian 3G, Motorola A1000(<RM2K, Newer Model coming out) is also symbian based 3G. DOPOD 838 PRO(RM32xx) & 900(>RM3400) are WinMobile based 3G pda/phones.

Do include more pictures of the device. The brushed metal design looks good and though the leather casing is ordinary, at least it has the Brand Logo on it unlike the DOPOD ones...

The colours of the pic look good enough though it was a bit blur here and there.

I think EDGE is rarely used unless you're a DIGI user.

To me its either 3G on the move or WI-fi near any hotspot.

Thanks for the vital stats.

Seems that the Asus is bigger in every sense than the rest save the DOPOD 838 Pro's thickness.

Well to each his own. It's great device nonetheless thumbup.gif and size difference of this minute scale wouldn't be a factor whichever you choose. The sizes of those 4 devices are nothing compared to the older XDA IIs and DOPOD 900 so if those are passable to some, Im sure this is.
