Anyone can share their experience here? What paste did you use and what are some pitfalls to avoid? I'm on an i3570k. Much appreciated.

Think before u do it..haha..i use the vise delid method..just 3 tap n the ihs succesfully removed..currently using gelid extreme paste..5-10'c improvement..will use coolab liquid ultra in near future..

erm so impressive,temp decrease a lot..
i wanna delid my i5-3570K but not quite confidence,scared to spoil the cpu...
so after deliding,warranty is off aite?

I delidded my 3770K with a razor blade. My hands were shaking when I was doing it. tongue.gif
The first paste that I used was the Prolimatech PK1. No impressive temp drop which made me bought the Coollaboratory Liquid Ultra. With that I get around 20C temp drop (during load), no kidding. biggrin.gif
