I only know in ipoh. You need to get from metal wholesalers, distributors.
they got all sorts of thickness of aluminium sheets, but have to buy minimum 4x8 feet each piece, aluminium/copper blocks and cylinders...

same side same road as The Store, further down, near the MGS school roundabout, turn left at the maxis dealer/office, further down you should see the shops on the left. its gonna be a problem for u, since you're not from ipoh LOL, as well as transport is gonna be a problem.
I bought a 4x8 feet piece of 1mm thick aluminium b4, free delivery via lorry to my house.

Buying a whole 4x8 feet may feel expensive.
But actually if u try dividing them by square feet, lets say by assumption 1mm thick 4x8 feet is RM120.
so its 32 square feet. each square feet is RM3.75
Not that expensive eh?
The problem is, these metal wholesalers don't sell any smaller pieces. U can try searching around at those guys who make those aluminium cabinets and stuff for leftover pieces.
