i suddenly realize the reason behind the delay for official 4.2

samsung probably wana sell more s4 mini, which comes out of the box with 4.2

if s3 also upgradable to 4.2, who wana buy s4 mini which is more expensive than s3?
*
This is one of the reason.... they may delay S3 4.3 upgrade for more S4 sales.. that is the reason 4.3 is releasing to s4 starting for these few days... rclxub.gif

You said 20 sec... i want 1 minute, he want 2 minute and she want 3 minute.. cause everyone expectation is different.. how to fulfill??? biggrin.gif

Brother, the reason i say that tiny amount of time is to let you swap battery. Even if only 10sec also ok. At least won't off the phone and give reasonable time to swap battery will be good.

My phone is in the hospital already. Probably only Monday or Tuesday can get it back. Going to be phone-less for a while now sad.gif

Anyways, just a reminder to everyone. Please don't put your phone in a tight jeans pocket laugh.gif

My jeans pocket is deep and loose.
All I need to do is slide the tip of the phone at the pocket entrance and let go.
The phone will slide gracefully into the pocket.
Have a nice swoosh sound when it slide in wink.gif

No need worry it break tongue.gif

Samsung toolkit? You mean Odin?

Then ya, just use Odin to flash that file.

wow, i didnt know s3 got toolkit.

mskip is a great developer making unlocking/rooting toolkit for nexus device.
never thought he will support samsung non nexus phones.

i got this phone last month, i used odin to flash a cf root kernel to gain root.
then flashed cwm recovery using odin as well.

once i have cwm its instant highway to custom rom. thumbup.gif

i just check, his thread posted june 11. i got mine june 6.
no wonder i missed it.

just my personal thoughts, i dont see the need to use that toolkit, its like 100+ MB in size, and requires install.

odin is just 400+kB, just run the .exe to use, no installation required.
cf root is 18MB
cwm recovery is 6MB.
it is practically faster to just use cf root method. actual flashing process less than 5 minutes.
