Digi got excellent customer service - note that I said 'excellent'.
Celcom Maxis got ok customer service while Umobile is the 'WORST' one of all.
TERRIBLE!

I only stick with Umobile because it have good coverage in my area.
Been thinking of switching to Celcom, but too busy to work it out yet..
(because if I switch, I'll be bringing my wife and the whole family with me to that telco).

I wish I could stayed with Digi, but their coverage went down the drain 
Reception is still terrible at my place, even at my kampung.. before I got H all the time, then time pass by
and now it changes sometimes E sometimes 3G/H speed is also not consistence.. (remember the time their ad "at DIGI consistency rules" or something - BAH, you can't find it anymore).

Anyway s3 without a data plan is a dumb phone

dam alot things to explore 
For now;

1) Is there a way to enter the lock screen by just swipe/touch the screen rather than pressing the lock & home button key?

2) Does S3 comes with this type of screensaver, where it display time,date & notifications?

i want to know also the no 1 question...

guys, can u recommend a good shop that can do screen replacement?

only cracked screen, touch are all ok.

preferably around shah alam/subang and can do after office-hour visit.

Best to go to a Samsung center to repair it. Not sure about the price though.

ok just found out it is only outer glass, no damage on lcd/digitizer since touch seems to work fine.. all u need to do is just to pry off the glass after melting the glue and get a new one..

so anyone knows any shop that can do it? most services i found just change the whole digitizer+lcd+outer glass.. which is way more expensive..

just recently migrated from Sony to samsung. And after extensive review, I pick S3. Hope not a bad choice.

Previously my data plan with Celcom is underutilised (1GB permonth, hardly used more than 500MB, using Xperia Ray), but just used S3 for 1 week plus, and today I got warning from Celcom, saying my usage is already >80%.. wah...

Actually got S4 second hand as well, but dont think I'll be using it, since review said S4 not much of upgrade from S3 (meaning S3 is sufficient for me.. I think??)

i want to know also the no 1 question...

S4 is a great upgrade.

-lighter
-thinner
-bigger battery
-better screen, text are sharper than s3
-sensitive screen works with gloves
-able to detect hovering finger above screen
-more ram, able to cache more apps, less delay when reopen apps
-way better camera quality
-can work as TV remote

It's everything the s3 is and better. All the above points are hardware, no mod you can do on s3 to achieve those feature. Not to say s3 is bad, it's great. I rather take s3 than Sony xperia z or htc one due to sd card and removable battery. I just feel weird you say got review say s4 not a big upgrade. I mean come on, bigger screen in smaller lighter body with bigger battery is a big achievement already.

When does your data plan renew the quota?
Maybe you just start use s3 when quota almost over, new phone sync a lot of things.
