flash new kernel. the 1st one. i have that issue also, but after flashing the latest kernel, it works again

but it will take away your root. need to reflash root from supersu back and then change to superuser on supersu apps after flash. but if you like supersu, you can keep that. i like superuser. this is the file that you need to flash.

download, place it on internal memory or external, flash using custom recovery. thats it.

backup using titanium backup. make sure backup on ext sdcard. restore from ext sdcard after flashing new rom.

maybe need to wipe cache and wipe delvik on recovery. if still facing the same problem, might need to wipe data (format phone), but you'll lost all data on the phone excluding data in external memory.

2 months before, i struggled to find rom that have long battery life and not thinking about the lag. because on that time, i feel leak 4.2.2 is good enough for long battery life and less lag than 4.1.2.

until i try slimbean. now on temasek. since slimbean, i never looking back at sammy rom. maybe i'll give a try if 4.2.2 or 4.3 official release. smile.gif

Basically 4.3 base still got alot of bugs i guess, thats why drain like hell.

on temasek's rom cm10.2 with temasek's kernel, i can get 1 day 3 hours on battery. screen on is 5 hours 34 minutes. the owner which is temasek got 26 hours on battery and 6 hours on screen with the 10% battery left. i think, android 4.3 is not the reason of battery drain.

the only sammy rom that i can get nearly 6 hours on screen time is on sotmax rom. but the dev discontinue and then i go with cm rom. but sentinel rom also good. clean and quite perfect to me even on v1. after trying slimbean, i'm in love with cm rom. now stuck with temasek. cm10.2 is quite stable now but still have a few known bug such as glitch screen when rotating. hopefully the major bug on cm10.2 will fix asap.

i think no. maybe he use temasek rom but with his build and fix. saw him in the temasek's thread giving the fix of droidvpn.
