You can move your UI menu around the screen by pressing Alt + Up arrow. Helps a bit, though I'd still love a full screen view. Shouldn't have sold my old LCD

Best thing to do with the Hard AI is to harass it's resource buildings early. I've never had a nuke drop on me in the game, except that one time I nuked my own base by accident. How long do you guys play for, on average per game?
