Hum, interesting, SupCom was indeed a big big hit for me.

But some of the comments about the change in the units "mentality" and the "we took out economy of the table" kinda make me think this SupCom will be really mightly different, I just hope they will not change the basics too much and make it just "another" RTS.

The "good to have more people able to enjoy the game" also scared me a lot... tuning down gameplay to attract masses is not really my cup of tea... I enjoyed SupCom for its scale and variety and while I am not an elitist I do enjoy complex games even though I understand that from a Marketing point of View it's more money for them...

"Wait and See" I guess

Edit: After reading the link and read a reader's comment at the bottom, I do agree it smells like a multi-platform porting and watering down of the economy for consoles...

The article in the link has one more sentence at the end:

"Chris promises "spectacular visual change" that'll run well on a £500 PC."

So well, should still be "alright" but I very much take this kind of developer's comment bit a huge chunk of salt...
