Hi! I need input from you all. I have an HTC 8X and i accidentally broke the screen last month. It fell flat on road and the screen cracks all the way.. I can still use it normally but it doesn't look nice to see.

Does anyone know where i should sent it to repair with cheaper cost? I've made an enquiry with SIS but i bet the cost to repair it will cost half the price of the phone!

Please give me your feedback ASAP!

with my past experience with SIS and third party repair, I think I might share some things with you. (hTC One X)

If you don't have any more warranty sending the phone back to for warranty will cost you 2x of the 3rd party repair.
Some 3rd party repair will do a good job, some will be fair and the prices quoted by them may vary, probably a couple hundreds more.

I'd like to suggest you to look for parts first, survey how much the screen will cost on taobao or ebay, get a rough figure and send your phone to them. They will let you know they have to order parts from their supplier and quote you a figure, take the figure that you've surveyed and compare with the quoted price. If you're satisfied then you may proceed for repair, usually it takes 1 month to repair, same goes to SIS.

Plenty out there, they all work the same just depending on which sifu has a "sharper" skill.

As for me, I'm still on a queue because the part has not arrive yet.
